Marissa is a corporate and real estate attorney with significant experience advising companies, investors, developers, and nonprofits on complex transactions involving both corporate structuring and significant real estate property assets. She provides strategic counsel on mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, joint ventures, and corporate governance, and frequently serves as outside counsel to companies at all stages of growth.
In her real estate practice, Marissa advises on the full lifecycle of commercial property transactions, including acquisition, financing, development, leasing, and disposition. She also counsels clients on land use strategy and entitlement matters, particularly in jurisdictions with challenging regulatory frameworks.
Marissa advises a range of tax-exempt entities on formation, governance, and operational structure, including hybrid and multi-entity models. She is the founder of a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a network of scalable marine conservation initiatives that has received international recognition, including being featured in BBC’s Blue Planet series.
