James Creedon is an experienced leader in brand growth and protection, having worked with some of the largest brands in the world as they expand their reach and consolidate their markets. He advises clients on securing trademark registration, developing operational and marketing strategies, acquiring new revenue through licensing and portfolio purchase, and enforcing intellectual property rights.
James is a thought leader in socially conscious approaches to business. He is a speaker on socially-responsible enterprise and founded the first B Corp certified law firm in Texas. His commitment to service began as a New York City paramedic and 9/11 rescue worker, and continues in his military service as an Army officer. He is a graduate of the Army Air Assault, Airborne, and Ranger schools, and he currently serves in the Army Space Cadre.
James is dedicated to education, and regularly lectures on topics including intellectual property and innovative technologies. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law, where he previously led the Trademark Clinic and now teaches on artificial intelligence and intellectual property.
Together with his wife Eliza, he is on the board of the Creedon Foundation — a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children in need pursue their interests.
