Ornella is a corporate attorney based in Fort Worth, TX focusing on emerging company venture capital transactions. Before joining Scale, Ornella was an Associate at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP in Boston, where she developed extensive experience drafting and reviewing a variety of legal documents, including term sheets, SPAs and other VC documents, disclosure schedules, SEC filings and more. Her expertise also encompasses debt financing and facilitating due diligence in corporate transactions.

Ornella honed her skills as an M&A and Corporate Development Intern at Charles River Laboratories, where she developed best practice templates for M&A transactions. She also has experience in legal research and drafting from internships with Citrix and Goldstein, as well as practical legal training as a Student Attorney in the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic at Boston University.

Ornella holds a Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law, where she served as Symposium Chair for the American Journal of Law and Medicine, and a Masters in Management from Lehigh University. She is fluent in French and enjoys spending time with her family, dancing, playing board games and solving jigsaw puzzles in her free time.
