Scott is a corporate attorney focused on the needs of emerging growth companies and participants in the gaming and hospitality industry. He appreciates the challenges facing founders and enjoys working with them throughout the life cycle of their companies. He is also a trusted legal advisor on strategic corporate transactions in the gaming industry. Scott sometimes combines these passions while advising clients engaged in the rapid-growth online gaming and sports betting markets.
Prior to joining Scale, Scott was a shareholder with Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, splitting his time between the firm’s Denver headquarters and its Las Vegas office. His expertise in the gaming industry derives from an extensive stint with Caesars Entertainment, where Scott served as deputy general counsel and corporate secretary, responsible for the company’s corporate governance, securities laws and capital markets activity, and casino resort development transactions. Before Caesars, Scott was general counsel of a SaaS provider of sourcing and procurement solutions to the hospitality industry after several years as a corporate associate in large law firms.
