Zoe has over 20 years' experience negotiating complex media, technology and other IP transactions. She brings particular expertise to structuring partnerships both in legacy media and with early stage innovators, including:

• Live sports and other content distribution via streaming, cable/satellite and over-the-air broadcast
• MVPD/vMVPD affiliation and retransmission consent agreements
• Software and SaaS licenses
• AI, AR/VR and other emerging technologies 
• Digital platform support, including ad tech and app distribution on mobile and connected device platforms
• Trademark licensing, sponsorships, marketing and promotion
• Due diligence and strategic M&A support in the sports, media and entertainment spaces

Before joining Scale, Zoe was a Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at the NBA, where she co-led the legal team responsible for the distribution of NBA content (live games, highlights, VR, social media, etc.) via third-party distributors and the NBA’s direct-to-consumer platform. She has also held senior roles in the law departments of Altice USA and Charter Communications (formerly Time Warner Cable), focusing on content acquisition as well as strategic advice relating to mergers and acquisitions and new product and technology initiatives.
