Auriel Ackerman

Auriel’s practice is focused on representing privately held companies in mergers and acquisitions, advising clients on both buy- and sell-side transactions. She regularly leads due diligence efforts and drafts and negotiates transactional and ancillary documents, with notable experience in the healthcare industry. In addition to her work with mergers and acquisitions, Auriel counsels clients on commercial contracting risks as well as broader corporate governance matters.

Before entering the legal profession, Auriel spent more than eight years in social work and behavioral health administration. While that experience was prior to her legal career, it continues to inform Auriel’s practice today, providing her the ability to readily approach negotiations with confidence and apply creative problem-solving strategies to help drive transactions to successful completion.
