After over a decade of military service in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps, Karey Marren combines the skillsets she developed as a military officer and legal practitioner. Karey merges both litigation and regulatory experience, producing practical, thoughtful legal advice to her clients.
As a former criminal federal prosecutor, defense, and appellate attorney, Karey provides an authentic level of advocacy on behalf of her clients. She also has a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, as she was a trusted legal advisor to the nation’s top military officers on Fort Bragg, NC. Her experience spans internal investigations, procurement integrity, compliance, and data privacy.
Karey is part of Scale, LLP’s Dual-Use & Emerging Defense Technology team. She focuses on helping clients navigate both defense and commercial markets. She also serves to represent clients facing disputes, including civil litigation and government protests.
