Aaron Swerdlow is a dedicated and strategic legal adviser to emerging technology companies, private equity firms, consumer brands, and entertainment clients. He specializes in a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and complex transactions. His practice encompasses structuring and negotiating private equity deals, licensing agreements, and asset sales. Additionally, he counsels clients on joint ventures, financing, employment contracts, marketing arrangements, and third‑party service agreements.

With extensive experience in high‑stakes negotiations, intellectual property matters, and international transactions, Aaron has represented top executives and coaches in negotiations with nearly every NBA franchise. He has worked across the table from major media and private‑equity firms, facilitated multimillion‑dollar fundraising rounds, and successfully guided privately held companies through high‑value exits.

Aaron has served on advisory boards for The American Lawyer and Law360, is currently the editor‑in‑chief of the sports‑law section in Matthew Bender’s quarterly treatise Entertainment Industry Contracts and has been quoted in national publications such as USA Today, The Financial Times, Law360, and VentureBeat.

Aaron lives in Santa Monica with his family and their foster dogs. He enjoys chess, the Baltimore Orioles and Wisconsin Badgers, and espionage and dystopian fiction (favorite authors include Cormac McCarthy, Graham Greene, and John le Carré).
