Jefferson represents digital health, life sciences, and technology companies in a range of complex transactions. He is a trusted advisor known for pragmatic guidance and strong judgment, and is committed to being a go-to legal partner for innovators shaping the future of healthcare technology. His practice spans intellectual property licensing, data privacy and security, and healthcare regulatory matters, as well as corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and venture capital investments. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP).

Deeply engaged with the digital health community, Jefferson advises emerging innovators through the Rock Health Innovation Fellowship program, volunteers as a judge for the University of Washington Hollomon Health Innovation Challenge, and has helped organize the Digital Health Counsel AI Summit in Seattle. His areas of focus include telehealth, data interoperability, artificial intelligence, population health, behavioral health, and software as a medical device.

Outside of his practice, Jefferson is passionate about golf—he is a course rater for Golfweek magazine and supports access to opportunities for young people through the Evans Scholars Foundation and Youth on Course.
