Samuel Gintel

Sam is a practical, business-minded corporate attorney with over a decade of experience advising startups, growth-stage companies, and investors. As outside general counsel, he guides founders, executives, and boards through all stages of a company’s lifecycle, from formation and fundraising through scale and exit, to which Sam brings a holistic approach shaped by the realities of fast-moving teams. He has closed over $1B in venture capital, M&A, IP, and commercial transactions across a wide range of industries, including AI, video games, enterprise software, fintech, biotech/medtech, crypto, e-commerce, cybersecurity, and more.

Sam started his legal career in litigation, which informs his ability to flag risks early and structure clean, defensible deals. Earlier in his career, Sam spent time on the ground in China and has substantial experience advising on cross-border transactions, giving him practical insight into international business dynamics and enhancing his ability to support companies navigating foreign expansion and regulatory complexity.
