Scott is a corporate attorney with significant experience in both law firm and in-house counsel environments. He is adept at servicing the corporate and transactional needs of clients both large and small. For his emerging growth company clients, he appreciates the challenges facing founders and enjoys working with them through the entire life cycle of the company. For his larger institutional clients, he is a trusted legal advisor on strategic corporate transactions, particularly in the gaming and hospitality industries.
Prior to joining Scale, Scott was a shareholder with Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, splitting his time between the firm’s Denver headquarters and its Las Vegas office. His expertise in the gaming industry derives from an extensive stint with Caesars Entertainment, where Scott served as deputy general counsel and corporate secretary, responsible for the company’s corporate governance, securities laws and capital markets activity, and casino resort development transactions. Before Caesars, Scott was general counsel of a SaaS provider of sourcing and procurement solutions to the hospitality industry, after several years as a corporate associate in large law firms.
