Denver becomes the latest major market where Scale attorneys have earned top individual rankings
Scale LLP Partners Patrick Diehl and Scott Wiegand have been named to Legal 500’s US Elite rankings, each recognized among the top attorneys in Denver for Corporate and Securities. The rankings identify standout practitioners at leading regional firms who are handling sophisticated work at the highest levels of the U.S. legal market.
The US Elite rankings are determined by Legal 500’s research team through in-depth interviews, peer and client feedback, and an evaluation of each attorney’s work over the past year. This distinction places Diehl and Wiegand alongside leading practitioners in one of the country’s fastest-growing legal and business markets.
Diehl leads Scale’s mergers and acquisitions team. He has more than a decade of experience advising companies and investment funds on strategic corporate transactions, including financing, corporate reorganizations and spin-outs, and joint ventures. Diehl has counseled clients on transactions totaling more than $1 billion.
Wiegand is a corporate attorney with more than 30 years of experience across both law firm and in-house environments. He advises emerging growth companies through every stage of the business life cycle and serves as a trusted advisor to larger institutional clients on strategic corporate transactions, with particular expertise in the gaming and hospitality industries.
With this recognition, Scale now counts US Elite-ranked attorneys in six cities across four states. Partners Eric Ferraro, Alexander Gershen, and Jamie Wells have been recognized in California, Brian Elliott and Chuck Kraus in Texas, and Cary Ullman in New York.
